The Center seeks to lead the research on emotions in Israel and serve as a full partner to similar research bodies around the world. Moreover, the Center aspires to serve as a global knowledge resource in the area of emotions related to the uniqueness of Israel and Judaism.

In parallel to its scientific role, the Center aims to serve as a national center for enrichment and development for commercial and other types of organizations in the Center's knowledge fields of as well as contribute to the community in developing abilities and knowledge in these fields.
